Minnie "Jinx" Butler Garrison, 90, of Drexel, NC died Monday, June 25, 2012. Born in Rutherford County, NC on August 20, 1921, she was the daughter of the late William Ervin Butler and Eula Raye Walker Butler. Jinx was a member of First Baptist Church in Morganton.
She is survived by her sister, Miriam Helms, and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Truette Wilburn Garrison, two brothers, and three sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Don Smith officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
