Michael “Mike” Allen Bandy, 66, of Morganton died Friday, February 28, 2020. Born in Burke County, NC on April 8, 1953, he was the son of Edna Beatrice Whisenant Bandy and the late Roy William Bandy. Mike was a member of Catawba Valley Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his wife, Linda Huffman Bandy; children, Michael Allen Bandy, II and Kimberly Bandy Arnett and husband, Jamie; and grandchildren, Trevor Allen Arnett, Lathan Coy Arnett, Brayden Mike Bandy, and Tyler David Bandy.
Mike was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Larry William Bandy.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Catawba Valley Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. in the church with Rev. Dean Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
