Mr. O’Hagan was a very kind man who was always kind to me and my family. When I spoke with Sarah and Tim on the phone, he would always invite me to visit at any time and asked how I was doing, as well as my family, because that's the kind of person he was. He also enjoyed talking with my parents from time to time. Praying for everyone during this difficult time. May he forever RIP in the arms of our Lord.

Michael was the kindest, most fun, loving human being. He was always there for me when I was married to his brother Brian, and even after. He made me laugh, he made me feel included, and he always had great wisdom to share in times of confusion or stress or anxiety. I loved him so much. He made a huge difference in many people's lives, including my own. May he rest in peace, and may his family and friends celebrate his life and find joy knowing he was loved by so many. There is a new star in the heavens.

Michael was my former brother-in-law, but to me he was always like a big brother. When I was a teenager, he gave me my first job working at the Briar’s, taught me how to drive a stick shift, and helped me with my college admissions essays. He loved telling stories about his family and reminiscing about Briarcliff with anyone who would listen. He also loved my dad deeply and honored him by giving the eulogy at his funeral, something I will always remember with gratitude. Michael was an important and formative presence in my life for many years, and his influence has stayed with me long after. In the last couple of years, as he faced serious illness, Michael showed remarkable courage and resilience, meeting everything that came his way with determination and never giving up. He showed up for me during times when I was ill and had a special gift for bringing people together, especially through food, hosting memorable gatherings with the skill and joy he carried from his years in the restaurant business. I miss him deeply, and my family does as well. Michael will always be part of my story, and I am grateful for the love and kindness he gave so freely.

Michael and I grew up together. We were best friends and teammates. From Little League through High School we played on the same teams. He was as talented in the classroom as he was on the playing field. Michael was always looking out for me. While at Cornell, he introduced me to Brenda, now my wife of 50 years. We both loved Michael. We spent many nights together at The Briars, and many weekends at The Cabin. The O’Hagan’s and the Borho’s were like one big family, and we will never forget the great times we spent together. We miss the good times. Thankfully, Michael is no longer suffering. May you rest in peace ❤️
