Melvin Harvey Morrill, 86, of Morganton, NC passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Born on December 19, 1938, he was the son of the late Melvin and Elsie Morrill. Melvin was a member of Praise Assembly of God.
Melvin is survived by his wife, Mary Dea Morrill; sons, Terrance M. Morrill, Ronald K. Morrill, and Michael A. Morrill; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Donald K. Morrill.
In addition to his parents, Melvin was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy D Morrill McGalliard; sisters, Lucille S. Demers and Claire Ball; and brother, Elva Stridesburg.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Park Hill Memorial Gardens.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
