Matthew Lee Minton, 39, of Morganton, NC, passed away suddenly January 9, 2023. Matthew was born in Burke County on, April 4, 1983 to Robin Gail Garland Minton and the late Danny Lee Minton. Matthew was one of the sweetest people you would meet and had a heart of gold. He loved fishing and was a hard worker operating his own cleaning and landscaping business.
Matthew is survived by his fiancé Kimberly Chambers; son, Nathan Minton; step-children Jacob Blanton, Krysta Chambers and Brea Chambers; granddaughter, Ashlyn Blanton; mother, Robin Minton; sister, Amy Velasquez; niece, Martha Minton and nephews, Dillon Minton and Isaac Velasquez.
No services have been planned at this time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
