No tribute to Marlene would be complete without the mention of Bill who was the love of her life. Theirs was a love story for the ages. From their meeting in school and later marriage, Marlene and Bill shared a lifetime of love spanning sixty-one years until his death in 2023. Not a day passed in which she did not think about or mention Bill and how much she missed him. Theirs was a true love story that transcended over seven decades. She longed to go home to be with Bill.

I have many fond memories of Ms. Marlene and Mr. Bill from my times at Mount Home. So glad they have been reunited in Heaven, May God comfort the family in the coming days.
I will miss my sweet cousin. I know she is so happy to be with her wonderful husband again. She was always the sweetest person to be around I sold her many cars they always had to be a black Cadillac. Rest in peace my beautiful friend I know she is safely in Gods hand that is the way she lived her life pleasing our Father in heaven.

Such a sweet Lady to work with for twenty-five years of Drexel/Heritage. May God Peace and comfort be with the Family now and through days to follow.
Marlene was always a special person so kind and caring. I was her nail tech for many years. I will always remember her laugh and conversations we had. My prayers are for her family. We will all be with each other again in heaven. What a day of rejoicing that will be!!! Much love and hugs!! Lisa Rector
