Mark Allen Winegardner

Mark Allen Winegardner, born June 4, 1967, age 42, of Morganton, went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2009. He had a great love for the Lord and expressed that love every day. He was the son of the late Gwyn Winegardner. In addition to his beloved mother, he was preceded in death by a brother and an aunt.Mark is survived by his extended family at the CHANGE Center and a special friend, Joni Pritchard of Morganton.Special thanks are given to the Morganton Housing Authority and to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte for the special care they took with Mark. Mark’s organs have been donated and by his generous gift, he has already saved three lives.A memorial service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2009 at Glen Alpine United Methodist Church with the Reverands David J. Duncan and Kenny Baker and Mr. Ed Cooper officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the CHANGE Center, PO Box 3486, Morganton, NC 28680.
