Margaret Regina Hamby, 69, of Lenoir, NC, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Born in Burke County, NC on April 17, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Paul Lee McNeely and Ruby Naomi Cooper McNeely. Regina was an excellent healthcare provider. She frequently baked goods to take with her on her numerous trips to visit elderly at the nursing home. She dearly loved her dogs, Billy Jack and Bella Rose.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Belinda Shuffler (Odell), Nena Davis, Shanda Boyles (Jonathan), and Naomi Seagle; grandchildren, Corbin Boyles, Avery Boyles, Aaron Davis, Joshua Shuffler, Isabella Boyles, Elin Boyles, Mastin Seagle, Michelle Bard, and Hudson Boyles; a great-granddaughter, Abigal Davis; brother, Donald McNeely; and sister, Jeannine Thomlinson.

In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Hamby; and a brother, Bobby McNeely.

No services are planned at this time.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
