Margaret Moore Dellinger Whisenant, 93, of Drexel, NC passed away Friday, November 18, 2016. Born in Burke County, NC on June 20, 1923, she was the daughter of the late James Wiley Moore and Daisy Causby Moore.
Margaret is survived by her special friend, Curtis Lambert and nieces, Lena Tweed and Wanda Gibbs.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whisenant was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Whisenant; and a number of brothers and sisters.
The graveside service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Rose officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 2608, Morganton, NC 28680 to assist with funeral expenses.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
