Margaret Duckworth Clark

Margaret Duckworth Clark, 86 of 401 Drexel Rd., Morganton, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Autumn Care Nursing Home after a period of declining health. She was born in Burke County and was the daughter of the late Thomas Ed Duckworth and Carrie Lula Belle Orders Duckworth.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ed junior Duckworth and two sisters, Ruby Mae Duckworth Franklin and Elizabeth Duckworth Deaton.She was a member of St. Matthews Methodist Church in Morganton.Survivors include her son, Audey Dean Clark and his wife, Kathy of Morganton; brother, Carl Robert Duckworth and sister, Clara Belle Duckworth Vaughan.The family will have a private cryptside service. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
