A beautiful voice, I enjoyed singing with her in the choir and the many years in our quartet, The Messengers in Faith.

Had several classes with Donnie in elementary, junior high, and Morganton High School class of 1967. She was such a sweet person and I know will be missed.

—Bo Cash

The entire Class of 1967 at Morganton High School sends their condolences to Donnie's family. Donnie was a very important part of our class and we mourn her passing. As class president, I personally had several conversations with her about her tragix accident. She was always so positive in spite of her unfortunate circumstances. She kept up with her high school classmates as best she could. We miss her.

—Charles Conley

When I think of Donnie, I think of all the work she did with WCG. As the president she led many missions projects. The favorite event in Drexel’s history was the Christmas Bazaar the 1st Saturday every December. Many wonderful memories… My heart goes out to the family.

—Sheree McCaw

My thoughts and prayers are with you Jake and Cindy, and your family. Hold tight to your memories for they will help you through the sadness.
