Magen Pritchard, 30, of Morganton, NC passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at her home after several years of declining health. Born in Burke County, NC on September 16, 1985, she was the daughter of Cynthia Burnette Pritchard of the home and the late Randy Pritchard. She was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church. Magen was a very loving person who never failed to say “I love you” when she left. She loved her children and everyone she met. Magen never turned away anyone in need.
In addition to her mother, Magen is survived by her children, Devin and Elizabeth Dennis of the home; the father of her children, Larry Wayne Dennis; her half-sister, Niki Humphries of Valdese, NC; her uncle, Dewayne Pritchard; her step-father, Ken Barrier; and a large number of friends and people who loved her.
In addition to her father, Magen was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jack and Joyce Williams Burnette; and her paternal grandparents, Hubert and Ethel Pritchard.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. at the church with Pastor Shawn Thomas and the Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
