Sweet Aunt Mabel -- I always loved you dearly and still do. You were so much more than can be stated in an obituary... your life was full in every way, you lived with vibrancy, dedication, grace and Godliness. Thank you for sharing your love and wisdom with me over these many years... I will miss our long conversations but most of all I'll just miss you. Will meet you with great joy in the Resurrection! Your niece, Amy

I’m so very sorry to hear the sad news of Mabel passing away. She was a dear friend of mine. I first met Mabel at Salem Elementary. We worked together and enjoyed our work. She was a very dedicated friend. We enjoyed talking on the phone after she retired. I kept working but visited Mabel. I know she’s in a better place. Good bye Mabel! I’ll miss you! We always hung up by saying I Love You!

—WILSON Patsy R.

I felt blessed to have known Mabel! Being a caregiver with my sister Cathy for a year, we felt was an honor. The nurses she had that came ever week were the very best!! There was not one day that was hard. Loving her and helping her was easy! We loved her like a mother! In this one year we have had so many sweet memories of her, me and Cathy will never forget them or her! Ilene McDaniel
