M. Thelma Layell, 80, of Drexel, NC died Thursday, April 30, 2015. Born in Yancey County, NC on December 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Utah Stiles and Lula Bell Robinson Stiles.
The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2015 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Pastor Thom Hartman officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
