Luther Wiseman, 64, of Morganton, NC died Monday, September 28, 2015. Born in Mitchell County, NC on February 19, 1951, he was the son of the late William Henry Wiseman and Annie Grace Smith Wiseman. Luther loved growing up and living in the mountains. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Wiseman is survived by his wife, Darlene Carson Wiseman of the home; sons, Rick Lee Wiseman of the home and Patrick Wade Wiseman and his wife, Krista, of Rutherfordton, NC; three grandchildren; and brothers, Michael Wiseman and his wife, Deb, of the Oak Hill Community and Billy Wiseman of Hudson, NC.
In addition to his parents, Luther was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Wiseman.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.
