Louise Brittain, 97, of Morganton passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Born in Burke County, NC on March 19, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Fred Heath Beach and Cora Marie Neidig Beach. Louise was a member of Cross Memorial Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brittain is survived by her children, Glenda Cole (Sherrill), Tonia Lingafeldt (Glenn), Tommie Brittain (Norma), and Ricky Brittain (Ellen); seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Tallent, Ruthven Beach (Mary Belle), and Sarah Copeland; sister-in-law, Hattie Beach; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Brittain; grandson, Chad Cole; and five siblings, Mary Virginia Beach, Ethyleen Beach Murphy, Worth Beach, Blanche LaFevers, Vera Brittain, and Ralph Beach.
A private family service will be held for Mrs. Brittain.

The family would like to thank the staff of Magnolia Lane for their kind and loving care of Mrs. Brittain.
