Lori Reese, 53, of Morganton, NC passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. Born in Burke County, NC on October 4, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Thaon Shafton Reese and Hazel Powell Dale.
Lori is survived by her daughter, Celinda Miller and husband, Shy, of Kannapolis, NC; grandchildren, Cainen and Sienna Miller; a brother, Ken Johnson of Canton, NC; 4 sisters, Phyllis Smith, Karen Butler, and Connie Aldridge of Morganton and Georgia Greer of Hickory; and 2 special friends, Ricky Dale and Suki Davis.
In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Garry and Chris Whisnant.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Calvary Assembly of God. The memorial service will follow in the church at 3 pm with Pastor Scott Smith officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
