Loretta Aileen Sutherland, 68, of Hildebran, NC, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 after a period of declining health.
Born in Burke County, NC on December 9, 1954, she was the daughter of the late James Clyde Sutherland and Gladys Hart Sutherland. Loretta was a sweet, loving person who was loved and will be missed by the staff of the Cambridge House and her family.
She is survived by her brothers, Jim Sutherland (Suzanne) and Bill Sutherland (Nancy); nephews, Jesse and Scott Sutherland; and niece, Anna Burnham.
The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Ed Stephenson officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Medi Home Hospice, PO Box 1357, Newland, NC 28657.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
