Lois Elizabeth Holland

Lois Elizabeth Holland, 88, of Morganton, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday April 20, 2026. Born on September 17, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Marston and Minnie Stillwell. She was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church. Lois was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and traveling to the beach with her family. Lois was a very talented seamstress and loved to sew.

Lois is survived by her husband of 70 years, Grover Simpson Holland, Jr.; daughter, Tracy Holland Chapman; grandchildren, Dustin Carson (Rachal) and Jodi Carson; 2 great-grandchildren, Lakelyn and River.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard, Bud, Paul and Roy Stillwell; sisters, Betty S. Poteat, Geneva S. Pollard.

A graveside service will be held at 11a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Missionary Ridge Baptist Church with Dr. Darren Browning and Rev. Chris Dale officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Missionary Ridge Baptist Church.
