Leave a tribute for LJ Ledford.

So sorry to hear of LJ’s death. He was a cousin of mine that I probably had not seen in several years. His mother Pauline was a sister to my mother Ziller Austin Elkins. Many Saturdays LJ’s dad and mom would pack up their children and come to Asheville and we would go to a fishing lake and enjoy picnicking together and the guys would enjoy fishing. The family is in our prayers.

I met LJ through his wife Thelma. They lived a few houses from my mother Lillie and would often visit with each other before Thelma passed. Then you would see him walking around the neighborhood with his dog. He was such a kind and friendly person. Whenever we would have a yard sale, LJ always paid us a visit. Sometimes he bought something and sometimes he didn’t. I am so very sorry for your loss. He was a good man. May God comfort you all during this difficult time.
