Linda Gail Deal Branch, 82, of Drexel, NC passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. She was born on April 17, 1940 in Burke County to the late Ralph William Deal and Dorothy Coffey Deal. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church. Linda was an extraordinary and hardworking woman. Anyone who knew her knew how much she loved her children and her grandchildren. Family and friends always had her support and love. Spending time at the beach - especially with her friends, was a favorite of hers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nicole Deal.

She is survived by her children, Sherri Bradshaw (Willie), Chris Branch (Debra) and Greg Branch; grandchildren, Aubrey B. Murphy (Ronnie), Lena Bradshaw, Seth Whisnant, and Samuel Branch; brothers, Ronald Deal and Donald Deal; and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:30-4:00pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Enon Baptist Church. The funeral will begin at 4:00pm in the church with Rev. Bruce Piercy officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family would like to give a special thanks to the extraordinary friends and caregivers who stayed by their mother’s side all the way to the end – you know who you are.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Enon Baptist Church-Jesus Loves You Fund.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
