Lillian “Pee Wee” Mull Deal, 89, of Glen Alpine went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 27, 2019. Born in Burke County, NC on April 15, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Tom Mull and Etta LaFevers Mull. Lillian was a founding member of Conley Road Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a loving and caring person who loved her life and family.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Lillian is survived by her husband, Russell S. C. Deal; daughters, Brenda Moses (Jim) and Linda Crump (Bill); grandchildren, Rickey Moses, Tony Moses, Connie Crump Powell, Annette Crump Kilpatrick; and Tammy Moses Williams; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by 2 brothers, “Red” and “Two Spot” Mull; and 2 sisters, Ellie and Versie.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Conley Road Pentecostal Holiness Church. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. in the church with Rev. Bill Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
