Lewis Donnell Connelly, 51, of Drexel, NC, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022. Born in Burke County, NC on May 11, 1970, he was the son of Wilbert Lee Connelly (Patti) and Rosalyn Luvenia Kincaid Poston (Dennis). Lewis was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Lewis is survived by his children, Joshua Goss, Ethan McLean, and Devon Connelly; grandchildren, Caleb, Jadayn, Joslyn, Ethan, Jr., and Natalie; siblings, Sonya Connelly, Nicolette Luibrand (Ryan), and Justin Lippard; grandmother, Elizabeth Jenkins; aunts, Karen Kincaid, Sandra Flanders, Mary Thomas, Jenk Bullock, Aundrea Summers, Sarah Dula and Linda Davis; uncles, Charles Kincaid (Carolyn), Edward Kincaid, Larry Jenkins (Ada), and James Connelly; special family friend, Allen Cribb and Adam English; and his favorite niece and nephews, Stephone and Riley Shade.
Lewis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ophelia Kincaid, Charles Wilkins, and Carroll Davis; uncles, William Tony Kincaid, Donald Kincaid, and Kendrick Jenkins.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.

Well Dew it's coming up on the 1st anniversary of you being gone, but to me it all seems so fresh😪 I miss you even more today than I did 11 months ago, it just will Never be the same without you.... for me anyway.
