Lena Lowrance Rabb, 94, of Valdese, NC passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017. Born in Gaston County, NC on September 2, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Reed Augustus Harris and Leila Harris. Lena was of the Lutheran faith.
Mrs. Rabb is survived by a son, Glenn Lowrance and his wife, Mary Ann, of Morganton, NC; grandchildren, Jeffrey Lowrance of Mason, OH and Candy Yelton of Morganton; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Max and Bob Harris, both of High Shoals, NC.
In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Lowrance, Sr.; second husband, Carroll Rabb; a brother, Pete Harris; and two sisters, Inez Friday and Margie Griffin.
A private family service will be held for Mrs. Rabb.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family.
