Larry W. Johnson, 80, of Morganton, NC passed away, June 16, 2022. Born on September 11, 1941, he was the son of the late Thad and Lilly Johnson. Larry was a proud US Marine, serving in the Vietnam War.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Rona Nygaard (Clint) of Fayetteville, NC and Tracey J. Snow (Michael) of Valdese, NC; grandchildren, Graham (Jocelyn), Eva, Cory, Mark, Emma and Joanna Nygaard; brother, Bob Johnson; sisters, Carolyn Johnson, Linda Faulkenbury.
In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Ortez Johnson; brothers, Dwight, Edward, and Roger Johnson; sister, Shirley Johnson.
There are no services plans at this time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
