Larry Eugene Ramsey, 78, of Morganton, NC passed away on August 22, 2026. Born in Burke County, Larry was the son of the late John Welford and Eula Geneva Beach Ramsey.
Larry was a veteran of the US Army and enjoyed hunting and shooting.
Larry is survived by his grandsons, Victor Ramsey, Kevin McClurg, and Domanick Ramsey; great-grandson, Grayson Ramsey; sister in-law, Mary Alice Ramsey; and nieces and nephews, Jennifer Hutchison, Gerald “Jerry” Hutchison, Stuart Ramsey, Greg Ramsey and Celeste Ramsey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Eugene Ramsey; and siblings, Robert “Bob” Joseph Ramsey and Anita Ramsey Hutchison.
