Kim W. Johnson, 59, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 4 2025. She was born on May 29, 1966 in Burke County to the late Marvin Buff and Eunice Workman Buff. Kim was a supervisor at Burke Outlet, later known as Bealls. She loved hanging out with her family. Kim loved going to the beach and her trips to Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Harold Gallion; grandmother, Virgie Jane Workman.

Kim is survived by her husband of 28 years, Raymond Larry Riffle; sons, Dustin Riffle (Sam) and Larry A. Riffle, Jr. (Naome); daughter, Tiffany Rowe (Nicholas); three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray Workman (Debra), Roy “Rowdy” Workman, Sam Buff, and Marvin Dewayne Workman; sister, Pamela Buff (Jimmy); several nieces and nephews; and her lifetime canine companion, Angel.

The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 2pm in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Billy Mitchell and Deacon Nicholas Rowe officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
