Kim Ledbetter, 57, of Morganton, NC, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021. She was born on July 18, 1963 in McDowell County. Kim was a member of Mt. Home Baptist Church and was devoted to her church by helping with the Youth, devotionals, Bible studies and working in the kitchen. She enjoyed camping and loved her dog, Cindy Lou.
Kim is survived by her husband of 13 years, David Ledbetter; daughters, Michelle Phillips (Jason), Megan Ledbetter; grandson, Jaxon Phillips; mother and father, Jan Shuford and Mickie Shuford; parent-in-laws, Russell and Ann Ledbetter; sister-in-law, Sherri Johnson (Kirby) and a number of their children and grandchildren; and a number of step siblings.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Dean Brendle.
The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until 2pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Mt. Home Baptist Church. The service will begin at 2pm in the church with the Rev. Jerry Gamble officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
