Committal
Kenneth Wayne Lingerfelt, 81, went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Born on December 10, 1944, he was the son of the late John and Jamie Lingerfelt. Kenneth was an avid gardener. He loved to feed everyone from the crops he grew. Kenneth loved to hunt deer and was a great wood worker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-five years, Brenda Joyce Lingerfelt; son, Ivey “Wayne” Lingerfelt; brothers, Johnny Lee Lingerfelt, James Paul Lingerfelt; sister, Betty Helton.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Lingerfelt; grandchildren, Monica L. Plowden and Summer Lingerfelt; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Alex Plowden; brothers, Roy Lingerfelt, Benny Lingerfelt, Todd Lingerfelt; sister, Barbara Bowen.
Services are incomplete and will be announced when finalized.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
