Kenneth E. Hill

Kenneth E. Hill, 71 of Morganton, died unexpectedly Friday, May 12, 2017. Ken was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Hedrick Hill and father, Willie Hill.

Ken retired from Kmart Corporation and MGM Transport of High Point. Kenneth was a US Army Veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Cathy Cottrell Hill of Morganton; sons, Willie and Kenny, Jr. of Portsmouth, VA; sister, Shelva Hill Barkley (Harold) of Thomasville, NC; grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, May 20 at 3:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Burke County Friends for Animals, P.O. Box 1884, Morganton, NC 28680.
