Kendrick "Henry" Jeneil Jenkins, 33, of Weirton, WV died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Weirton Medical Center. Born in Burke County, NC on September 5, 1980, he was the son of Wanda Louise Jenkins Wilkins of Morganton and the late Charles William Wilkins. Before moving to WV he attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Valdese. He attended East Burke High School and later obtained his G.E.D. from Western Piedmont Community College. A very intelligent person with a knack for construction. Henry was pursuing an occupational development, building, and construction trade degree at WV Northern Community College, Weirton Campus. He was working at IBEX Global in Pittsburg, PA as an Outbound Sales Agent.Kendrick was the type of person that people try to emulate; he was kind, respectful, loyal, and always willing to help despite his own issues. He was a great father, brother, uncle, and friend with a beautiful smile. He was loved by everyone he came into contact with; they were not just friends but family.In addition to his mother, Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife, Nickie Rathburn Jenkins of Lenoir, NC; sons, Dante and Alania Jenkins of Glen Alpine, NC, Kameron and Kaleb Jenkins of Lenoir, NC, and Hayden Jenkins of Pittsburg, PA; brothers, Larry Jenkins and his wife, Leann, of Rutherford College, NC, Charles Kincaid and his wife, Lillian, of Lenoir, NC, Eddie Kincaid and his wife, Lanisha, of Morganton, Donald Kincaid of Morganton, and Anthony Kincaid of Columbia, SC; sisters, Lessie Lampkins of Germantown, MD, Maria Jenkins of Augusta, GA, Rosalyn Poston and her husband, Dennis, of Grover, NC, Karen Kincaid of Morganton, and Sandra Flanders and her husband, Tony, of Morganton; and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins..In addition to his father, Henry was preceded in death by a brother, John Charles Niebuhr of England.The funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Reverends Francis Tate and Jaimie Torres officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until noon prior to the service. At other times the family will be at 1674 Deviney Street, Morganton.
