Keith Harvey Huffman, 62, of Vale, NC died Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Keith was born in Burke County on March 18, 1954 to the late Harland Sanford Huffman and Viney Ola Chapman Huffman Wellman. He was a loving husband, father, and brother that deeply cherished his family.
Keith is survived by his wife, Jeraldine Gucila Huffman, of the home; sons, Daniel and David Huffman also of the home; son, Keith Moorefield and wife, Jessica; daughter, Kathy Moorefield Ervin and husband, Travis; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way, all of TN. He is also survived by brothers, Terry Lynn Huffman and Gregory Allen Huffman and wife, Cheryl Jane all of Morganton; sisters, Patsy Huffman Gibson of Valdese, Sylvia Huffman Hicks and husband, Orville, Sr. of Boone, and Shelly Huffman Register and husband, Charles, Jr. of Connelly Springs.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Walker’s Chapel Baptist Church. The funeral will be Saturday, 3:00 p.m. at Walker’s Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Danny McNeilly officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
