Katherine Daniels Wise

Katherine Daniels Wise, 69, of Morganton, NC passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Born in Avery County, NC on September 12, 1942, she was a daughter of Norma Johnson Daniels of Crossnore, NC and the late Arnold Daniels. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers, and visiting and caring for her mother. Katherine was a member of Sonlight Baptist Church.In addition to her mother she is survived by sons, Joseph Wise and wife, Debbie, Randall Wise and wife, Loretta, Danny Wise and wife, Lisa, and Marty Wise all of Morganton; brothers, Carroll Daniels, Doug Daniels, and Dale Daniels all of Crossnore; sisters, Peggy Grindstaff of Minneapolis, NC, Sharon Rash and Connie McCurry both of Newland, Robin Burleson of Spruce Pine, NC; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Bucky Glenn Wise and an infant sister.Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Burke Memorial Park with Reverend Mike Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. At other times the family will be at 4409 Pea Ridge Rd., Morganton, NC.
