Karen Levern Woodie Childers, 83, of Valdese, NC passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Born June 17, 1937 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Logins Garthur Woodie and Lucy Mildred Hughes Woodie. She was a member of Burkemont Baptist Church.
Mrs. Childers is survived by her husband, Bill Childers; daughter, Rhonda Norman Stair (Mike); step-daughter, Billie Jo Childers Deal (David); and step-grandchildren, Joshua David Deal and Jamie Leighann Deal.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd Woodie and Lester Woodie.
Services for Mrs. Childers will be private.
