June G. Allen, 93, of Morganton, NC, died Thursday, May 9, 2024 at his residence.
He was born in Harnett County, NC on March 6, 1931. June was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and worked as a mechanic at Green Chevrolet.
Mr. Allen is survived by his granddaughters, Stephanie and Cassandra Senter; and girlfriend, Betty.
June was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Ann Cooper Allen; daughter, Beverly Senter (Russell); and all his brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The cryptside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum. Military honors will be provided by the NC National Guard.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
