Julie is survived by her husband, Dean Epley; and a sister, Lisa Welch.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Don Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Dear Dean and Lisa, I was shocked when I came across Julie’s obituary. I loved Julie. She was a wonderful sweet Christian woman and friend. I enjoyed working with her and hanging out with her in our younger days. I remember being with her when she met you, Dean, and she fell head over heels! She also loved Jesus, her sister and little mama so much. When her mama died, we talked to each other a lot on Facebook and she was broken hearted, but she knew that her mama was with Jesus. Now, she’s with her Jesus and her sweet mama. We can take comfort in knowing that we will see het again one day.

Dean & Lisa, I’ve known Julie for many years; we were 12-14 yo when we were best friends. I lived up the road from her so we’d walk to each others houses. I’ve always thought very highly of julie & her mama. Although we haven’t stayed close over the yrs, we were fb friends. I always enjoyed her little dogs! I know you both will sorely miss her and you never get over your loss. But may the prayers of many help you to persevere through the pain of her loss. Sincerely. Beth L Dorenbusch
