Nothing made Julia happier than making someone else laugh. She never met a stranger, but she was best known for her love and her passion for animals and music. Her devotion to animals was beyond measure, as she saved or bettered the lives of so many. She often gave beyond her means to help God’s creatures that couldn’t help themselves. Julia was also able to bless others with her multiple music talents by playing the piano, guitar and singing. She never turned down a chance to entertain. Julia was always happy to jump in and play or jump in and sing. She could always find a song to share and with that she has left us all with a song that will last in our hearts forever.Graveside rites at Gibbs Chapel Wesleyan Church on Jamestown Rd. will be held Friday, May 30, 2014 at 4:00 pm with Reverend Roger Brackett officiating.
