Judy Fox Goodman, 81, of Connelly Springs, NC, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born on February 2, 1944 in Burke County, NC to the late Raymond Fox and Leola Mull Fox Whisnant. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Judy enjoyed working puzzles and going on trips with her family, whom she loved dearly. She was always making people laugh and smile.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Arnie Leon Goodman; brother, Roger Fox.
She is survived by a son, David Dean Goodman (Debra); daughters, Leola Elizabeth Brittain (Chad), and Rebecca Marie Goodman; grandkids, David Ellis Goodman, Garrett Brittain, Landon Brittain, Justin Abee, Tanner Bumgarner, and Ashley Nichole; brother, Alan McGalliard; sisters, Brenda Lowman (Clifford) and Patricia Fox; sister-in-law, Maressia Fox.
The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 2pm in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Doug Price officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
