Judy Crawley Fisher, 70, of Morganton, NC went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2015. Born in Burke County, NC on March 20, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Lee Obie Crawley and Catherine Pritchard Crawley. Judy was an active member of Grace Baptist Church, where she sang in the church choir and coordinated trips for the Senior Men and Women. She worked at Broughton Hospital and the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center and loved to travel.
A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Judy is survived by her children, Renee Fisher of Morganton, Alan Fisher of Morganton, and Debra Fisher of the home; grandchildren, Chris Fisher and his wife, Chelsea, and Corey Wheeler; a great-grandson who was her pride and joy, Spencer Lee Fisher; and an aunt whom she loved as a sister, Marie Russell and her husband, Medford, of Fines Creek, NC.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Pamela Jean Fisher.
The funeral will be held at 3pm, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Marty Bess officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
