Judy Clark Berry, 84, of Morganton, NC passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Born in Caldwell, NC, on September 18, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Houston Clark and Zillah Clark.
Judy was a member of Zion Memorial United Methodist Church. She graduated from Grace Hospital School of Nursing in 1961 and worked as a registered nurse for 30 years at Western Carolina Center. Judy loved her family and her pets and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed flower gardening, traveling (especially to the beach with her family), bird-watching, reading, crocheting, and crafts. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Billy Berry; son, Jonathan Berry (Karen); daughter, Lora Berry; grandchildren, Ashtyn Berry, Alyson Martinez (Andres), and Austin Berry (Makayla); great-grandchildren, Mylah Martinez and Leo Martinez; sister, Barbara Hamby; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ed Clark, Garfield Clark, Jeter Clark, Kermit Clark, and Robert Clark; and sisters, Ruth Crotts, Annie Mae Clark, and Nancy Coffey.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Zion Memorial United Methodist Church. The memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. in the church with Rev. Allen Boliek officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Memorial United Methodist Church or to Amorem Hospice.

Judy was such a wonderful nurse at Western Carolina Center.
You all have my deepest sympathy. It was my privilege to work with Judy for a number of years at WCC. She was a wonderful person and a skilled and caring nurse.
