Juanita Floy Page Wilkerson of Varina, VA passed away at her home on Thursday August 10th, 2023. Born April 28, 1925 in Morganton, NC, as the third child of Floy Ray Kincaid and Marshall Page. A 1942 graduate of Drexel High School, Juanita worked in a hosiery mill during the war. She and her husband, Tom, met on a train during World War II, corresponding through love letters until their marriage on September 10th, 1945, eventually

making Richmond their home. Prior to his death in 2008, they celebrated 63 years of marriage. She dedicated her life to raising her family. Nita was a 61-year member of Four Mile Creek Baptist Church. An accomplished artist, she loved gardening and playing cards. Her favorite place was in the kitchen cooking and entertaining her family and friends. She was an outstanding golfer, receiving many awards, accomplishing an ace, not once but

three times.

She is survived by a brother, Marshall Allen Page of Valdese, NC; children, Thomas (Linda), Marsha (Brad), Malinda (Bill), Richard (Shawna) as well as fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Lester Wilkerson, Sr.; children Sandra Floy and Eugene Page Wilkerson; brothers, Vester and Kelly Page; sisters, Muriel Shepherd and

Jane Wortman; and granddaughter, Jillian W. Andrews.

Family will receive friends at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church, located at 2950 New Market Road, Henrico, VA 23231, on Saturday August 19th from 10 to 11 am, followed by a Celebration of Life service from 11

am to 12 pm. Graveside service and burial will be held on August 20th at 3 pm at Forest Hill

Cemetery located at 200 Huffman Street, Morganton, NC.

Because of Nita’s love for flowers, please give a gift of flowers to someone in need of a smile. Donations may be

made to Four Mile Creek Children’s Ministry.

The family wishes to express appreciation for the wonderful care and support provided by VCU Bayada Hospice, especially Whitney and LaToya. As well as many thanks to the home health aides Margo Lee and Marlo Nash.
