Johnie and Mary Ward Canipe of Dunedin, FL and former Glen Alpine, NC residents, died in April, 2010. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Glen Alpine Cemetery with the Rev. Richard "Sandy" Curnow officiating. Military honors will be provided by the N.C. National Guard, Masonic rites will be provided by the Catawba Valley Masonic Lodge 217, and Eastern Star rites will be provided by the Mimosa Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family.
