John Wilson Denny, 84 of Hildebran, NC died Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Born in Avery County, NC on April 15, 1932, he was the son of the late Flora Rowe Denny.
Mr. Denny is survived by his sons, Gordon Denny of Newland, NC, Michael Scott Denny of Statesville, NC, and John Wilson Denny, Jr. of Morganton, NC; a daughter, Margaret Carol Schoneman; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Baker.
No services are planned for Mr. Denny.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 2608, Morganton, NC 28680 to assist with funeral expenses.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
