John “Jay” O’Hare, SMSgt (Ret), 88, of Valdese, NC passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. He was born on December 14, 1932 in Perry County, Ohio to the late Fredrick O’Hare and Elsia Farris O’Hare. Jay was a 20 year Veteran of the Air Force serving in the Vietnam War. He loved reading and he was an avid Ohio Buckeyes football fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Stewart O’Hare.
He is survived by his sons, John Edward O’Hare and Michael Patrick O’Hare.
There will be no services at this time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
