Joann Willis, 80, of Morganton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 13, 2021. Born in Buncombe County, NC on June 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Millard Alexander Suttles and Eula Leola Justice Suttles. Joann was a loving, caring person. She was a home healthcare nurse and loved to go to yard sales.
Mrs. Willis is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Sabrina Parsons, Valerie Loury, and Tony McCrow; a number of great-grandchildren; siblings, Yvonne Jeffcoat, Bobby Suttles, Sr., John Suttles; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Willis; sons, Greg Loury and Tony McCrow, Sr.; brother, Max Suttles; and sister, Dot Glover.
No services are planned at this time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
