Joann "Bobby" Lane Frank

Joann “Bobby” Lane Frank, 76, of Morganton, NC passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019.  Born August 28, 1942, in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Lane and Maggie Pearson Lane.  She was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by brothers, Gene, Jimmy, and Tillman Lane.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Frank, Jr.; son, Thomas Wesley “Moose” Frank (Tammie); granddaughter, Briana Mercedes Frank; brother, Billy Ray Lane (Brenda); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, August 22, at Missionary Ridge Baptist Church.  The service will be held at 2 p.m. at Missionary Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Ramsey and Deacon Mike Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that contributions be made to her husband, Thomas Frank, Jr to assist with expenses.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
