We were saddened to learn of Ms. Jewel's passing. While with us here at First Baptist, she was a source of musical light. She loved leading the choir and playing the piano and her love of both inspired many of us. She had a loving kindness for everyone she came in contact with, she genuinely cared for the church and it's members. We sorely missed her when she could no longer attend. We all know that her loss will be great to her family and we will hold all of you up in prayer. With sincerest sympathy, First Baptist Church Glen Alpine

She is a lovely and talented lady who always had a smile with words of encouragement and love to share. We loved that she made music such an integral part of the worship service. Her belief and love for Jesus spilled over into everything she did. I'm sure her loss is felt deeply. We hope that the loss you feel right now, will soon turn to joy with the knowledge that it is not goodbye, but, we will meet again! Your family is in our prayers.
