Jerry Norman, 73 of Morganton, NC, passed away, Friday, August 28, 2026.
Born in Burke County, NC on September 18, 1952, he was the son of Wilma Ward Norman and the late Arthur Lee Norman of Morganton.
In addition to his father, Arthur “Ott” Norman, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Gilbert Norman.
There will be a private family graveside for Mr. Norman
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I am so sorry for your loss. Diane had kept me up on how Jerry was doing. I attended church with Jerry at Faith where his mom and dad also attended. Jerry was a sweet guy and a forever friend who I lost touch with over the years. May God bless you with sweet peace.
