Jennifer Ashley Hildebran, 49, of Vale, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
Born in Henderson County, NC on April 18, 1977, she was the daughter of Kathie Gene Skinner Hord and the late Larry James Hord.
Jennifer loved arts and crafts — especially crochet and painting — and found joy in visits to the beach and taking long walks along the shore. Above all, she treasured time spent with family, making ordinary moments feel like celebrations. She worked in various roles within the medical field throughout her career.
A devoted wife, loving mother and cherished daughter, Jennifer is survived by her husband of 31 years, Terry Hildebran; daughter, Ashley Jandrew and her husband, Ethan, of Hickory; son, Alex Hildebran; mother, Kathie Hord; and numerous extended family.
No services are planned at this time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
