Jean Sheets Patton, 73 of Morganton, NC passed away, Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Born on February 19, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ellen Sheets.
Jean loved her family dearly and spending time with her devoted husband. She also enjoyed drawing, playing video games, and watching Gunsmoke.
Jean is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Patton; children, Jeanine Patton Harris (Richard), Darrell Ray Patton (Tania), Josh Patton (Allie); 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Sheets (Norma); son-in-law, Charles Powell.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her daughters, Carol Faye Patton and Elizabeth Ann Patton Powell; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
There are no services planned at this time for the Patton family.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
